Cleaning Instructions When Vacating

Windows, windowsills, and fly screens to be thoroughly cleaned. Windows to be washed inside and out and
be free from streaks & smears. Window tracks to be left free of dirt & insects.
Walls must be washed to remove any marks, be careful not to remove paint. Cleaning agents such as “Gumpton” are highly effective however need to be used with caution as are very abrasive and can remove paint if used to heavy handed.
Blinds to be thoroughly cleaned. Particular attention should be paid to the areas behind blinds.
All personal property to be removed.
All rubbish to be removed from the premises.
Garbage bins to be emptied, washed, and returned to allocated space.
Marks i.e. mould, oil on concrete to be removed (garage, paths, driveways etc.).
Doors & door frames to be left clean.
Light fittings, power points and switches to be cleaned. Bulbs to be left for replacement if blown.
Lawns & gardens to be maintained – all damage from pet rectified.
Outside of house to be washed down and free of cobwebs.
Floors - tiles to be cleaned and mopped affectively to remove any matter in grout. Carpets to be leftclean. If you required, we can provide several recommended professional steam cleaners with competitive rates.
Damage caused to the premises by the tenant or pet must be repaired at your expense.

Any extra copies you may have made must be handed over upon vacating
Keys must be returned with remotes in working order, as per key register signed upon occupation of property.
Please note replacement flat batteries is a tenant’s responsibility.
Have you changed the locks? If so, please advise immediately.

All Mould to be removed from the tiles, walls, ceiling and other surfaces.
Vanity & Basin to be cleaned inside and out
Bath and toilet to be cleaned thoroughly.
Tiles & bench tops to be thoroughly cleaned & free of grease.
Sink to be cleaned. Shower recess and shower glass to be thoroughly cleaned. Descaling of glass walls or shower head may be required

Tub to be cleaned inside and out
Cupboards to be thoroughly cleaned inside and out, any sticky marks need to be removed.
Walls, doors and cupboards should be wiped clean to remove any residue dust from the dryer.

Stove to be thoroughly cleaned including hot plate wells and surrounds, griller, oven (racks, sides, rear, floor
& walls).
We recommend the use of a powerful cleanser for stoves. E.g. Mr Muscle or similar. Please ensure safety precautions are followed and the property is well ventilated.
Kitchen cupboards to be thoroughly cleaned inside & out and sticky marks to be removed.
Tiles & bench tops to be thoroughly cleaned & free of grease. Sink to be cleaned. Dishwasher to be cleaned with appropriate cleaner – water emptied; all shelves cleaned. To be switched off and door left opened.
